We head into the second half of the session with a relatively quiet session on our hands. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is off its lows and showing a loss of 38 points. However, the Dow has traded in a low-to-high range of less than 70 points so far.

The sector graphs shows most groups are mulling around breakeven. The US Oil Fund (USO) is the biggest mover with a loss of 1.5%. The SPDR Homebuilders (XHB) is the only other group to show a loss of more than 1%. On the upside we find the Amex Biotech Index (BTK) is the "biggest" gainer but its advance barely clears the 1% mark.

With yesterday's rally, the return for the week is shaping up to be somewhat flat. As they stand now, the Dow is showing the largest move with a decline of around 1.2%. The other indices are more or less unchanged on the week. I will follow up after the close with final figures and thoughts.
