• Expectations that Sony Corp (SNE) will post a loss...
• A look in the CBOE Market Volatility Index (VIX) and historical volatility...
• Bernanke banter...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest news is this set of stories -

• Australians pull no punches when it comes to sharks - "It was the third shark attack in Australia in two days..."

So...we find out that trading success may be genetic? I am not sure I fully understand what is going on but my ring finger is longer than my index finger - can I put that on a resume? Meanwhile, the second story is interesting for two reasons. The first is because of this quote -
