The various brokerage firms were out in force this morning adjusting their ratings. Among those enjoying upgrades today include MasterCard (MA), United Parcel Service (UPS), Yahoo! (YHOO), and Western Digital (WDC). Below is a more complete list of those enjoying early upgrades.

Leap Wireless (LEAP) was upgraded to "outperform" at Pacific Crest
Yahoo! (YHOO) was raised to "hold" at Gabelli & Co.
MasterCard (MA) was boosted to "outperform" at Raymond James
Angiotech (ANPI) was upgraded to "hold"
United Parcel Service (UPS) was upgraded to "buy" at Stifel Nicolaus
American Greetings (AM) was lifted to "buy" at Soleil Securities
Acadia Pharma (ACAD) was upgraded to "neutral" at Bank of America
Western Digital (WDC) was upgraded to "buy" at Merrill Lynch
Bankrate (RATE) was upgraded to "outperform" at RBC
Equity Residential (EQR) was raised to "buy" at Stifel Nicolaus

Meanwhile, here are a few companies that saw fresh coverage from Wall Street:

Elan (ELN) was started at "neutral" at Cowen
Macrovision (MVSN) was started at "buy" at Kaufman Brothers
Life Time Fitness (LTM) was started at "overweight" at Stephens
Town Sports International (CLUB) was started at "equal weight" at Stephens
Marvel Entertainment (MVL) was started at "market weight" at Thomas Weisel
