Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

  • The record-setting initial public offering (IPO) from Visa (V)...
  • Hopes the Visa (V) IPO "will revive the sleepy market for new shares"...
  • Earnings from Adobe Systems (ADBE)...
  • Earnings from Morgan Stanley (MS)...
  • Loosened capital restraints on Freddie Mac (FRE) and Fannie Mae (FNM) so "the mortgage-finance companies can expand their roles in the stricken housing market"...
  • A look into why shares of Bear Stearns (BSC) are trading well above the $2 "buyout" price...
  • A look into the pay for Bear Stearns' (BSC) Chairman Jimmy Cayne...
  • A call by Jim Rogers for the rally to continue...
  • Concerns that "the Fed is too easy on Wall Street"...
  • A look into yesterday's bullish "Double Nine-To-One" signal...
  • Also, there is a note on Marketwatch that Thornburg Mortgage, Inc. (TMA) had suspend its dividend...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest story is the video below called "karate_chimp", courtesy of Mark "Obsessed-with-Darren-Rovell" Fightmaster -

And yet no one believes me when I talk about a potential animal uprising. The only question is - who are the collaborators that are helping to train the animals to fight? No good can come of this...

Though I must admit that, a close runner-up story is this - Dollars tough to sell - "The U.S. dollar's value is dropping so fast against the euro that small currency outlets in Amsterdam are turning away tourists seeking to sell their dollars for local money..."
