The! Biggest! News! of! the! Day! - Not Baidu.com Inc, Ciena Corp, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc or Lululemon Athletica Inc

Here are some of the contenders for today's biggest...news...of...the...day...

While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest news is this set of stories -

So...we see the story of a tow-truck driver with some absurdly inflated view of his mission while KFC workers take a dip in a sink. I checked the website for Yum! Brands, Inc (YUM), and they do state this -

    "We're equally proud of the unique culture we've built, one that's filled with energy, opportunity, and fun. We believe in our people, trust in their positive intentions, encourage ideas from everyone, and have actively developed a workforce that is diverse in style and background. Yum! is a place where anyone can, and does, make a difference."
I would say this is an example where the employees were definitely having fun and did in fact make a difference.

And yes, it is official, my new pet peeve involves people getting stuck in chimneys. This just shouldn't happen. People should be smart enough to say "me this big, long brick tunnel thingy only this big" and not climb in. However, as discussed back in October, there seems to be way too many people attempting this. Grrrr...
