While those are all stories worth watching, I think it is obviously clear that the biggest news is this set of stories -
So...we find a secretive clawed fur ball living in our midst... Furby...Gremlin...call it what you want but I have to believe that this ties into the animal uprising. And, of course, the second story only offers evidence why the animals may succeed. Yesterday we discussed a bird's
ever-so-tricky flying escape and today we see the man-in-a-box escape. What makes this story truly standout is this quote from a police spokesman -
""I've never seen anything like this.""
Really? Do you not own a television? I am pretty sure I have seen that one in cartoons...
Am I the only one with Jurassic Park concerns? As I reiterated a few months ago - it is all fun and games until the animal escapes and then we have to listen to Jeff Goldblum blather on about chaos theory and how you can't contain nature...
And for you car enthusiasts out there, please note - Serbia bids farewell to Yugo. Yes that is right, the Yugo will be no more. I believe this quote from an owner sums it up best -
"This is driving in its most natural form. You feel every bump, squeak and jolt, and one can enjoy the sweet smell of gasoline and exhaust fumes..."
Ahh yes, nothing like the sweet smell of poisonous fumes to enhance a leisurely drive...
